Abstract:

Studies in vitro indicate that the antidepressant drug, venlafaxine (VEN), inhibits the reuptake of both serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) and noradrenaline (NA) but has little activity on other neurotransmitter receptors.
