Fully efficient chromosome dimer resolution in Escherichia coli cells lacking the integral membrane domain of FtsK.

Abstract:

In bacteria, septum formation frequently initiates before the last steps of chromosome segregation. This is notably the case when chromosome dimers are formed by homologous recombination.
