Correction of multiple nonlinear resonances in storage rings

Abstract:

The correct implementation of the nonlinear lattice model is crucial to achieving the design performance in storage rings. We describe here a method for the simultaneous correction of multiple nonlinear resonances based on local resonance measurements and numerical fits of the sextupole components.
