Background: Molecular remodeling in heart failure includes slowing of repolarization, leading to proarrhythmia. Objective: To evaluate the effects of Na +/Ca 2+ exchanger (NCX) inhibition on repolarization as a novel antiarrhythmic concept in chronic heart failure (CHF).
