Optically detected nuclear magnetic resonance from a single heterojunction in the fractional quantum Hall regime

Abstract:

We report a remarkably sensitive optical technique for detecting nuclear magnetic resonance from a single ultra-high mobility two-dimensional electron system at a GaAs heterojunction in the fractional quantum Hall regime.
