Derivation and reflection properties of a transmission-free absorbing potential

Abstract:

An investigation regarding derivation and reflection properties of a transmission free absorbing potential was presented. A first-order differential equations wwas derived for a negative imaginary absorbing potential. The resulting absorbing potential had a second order pole at the end of the absorbing region which eliminated all transmission.
