Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: Laser stimulation of Adelta-fibre nociceptors in the skin evokes nociceptive-specific brain responses (laser-evoked potentials, LEPs). The largest vertex complex (N2-P2) is widely used to assess nociceptive pathways in physiological and clinical studies.
