This repository contains experimental data and simulation codes related to the following manuscript: Observation of transient and asymptotic driven structural states of tungsten exposed to irradiation Daniel R. Phillips, David Yang, Kenichiro Mizohata, Ruqing Xu, Felix Hofmann Physical Review Letters, October 2020 * Experimental data is contained in the folder “diffraction data”. By running the script “ORA_Deposit_plot_exp_figs.m” the experimental data figures in the manuscript can be re-plotted. Experimental data is contained in a number of text files, named according to the sample damage level. The format of the data in these files is recorded in the "Structure of diffraction data files.pdf" file. * The "simulation data" folder contains the scripts and data required to reproduce the figures containing simulation results. Also contained in the folder is the .lammps input script, annotated, to run the simulations. The simulation snapshots relax.00080.lammps and relax.00500.lammps for figure 2 correspond to 0.05 and 0.3 dpa respectively. * The "SampleOfAtomPositions" folder contains snapshots of atomic data across the dpa range. The files names are in the format: relax.NNNNN.lammps The cdpa corresponding to each of these atomic snapshots is (0.000625 x NNNNN), so that file 04800 has cdpa = 3.0.
