Abstract:

Purpose: Most patients with ovarian cancer receive paclitaxel chemotherapy, but less than half respond. Pre-treatment microtubule stability correlates with paclitaxel response in ovarian cancer cell lines. Microtubule stability can be increased by depletion of individual kinases.
