An anatomical study of the visual pathway in the cat

Abstract:

The central connexions of the visual system of the cat were investigated using neuroanatomical techniques, particular emphasis being given to the interrelationships of the visual cortox and the superior colliculus. Lesions were made in the retina by means of needle electrodes and in the cerebral cortex by devascularization.
