Abstract:

Industrial olefin metathesis catalysts generally suffer from low reaction rates and require harsh reaction conditions for moderate activities. This is due to their inability to prevent metathesis active sites (MASs) from aggregation and their intrinsic poor adsorption and activation of olefin molecules.
