Chromosomal aberrations in sporadic pituitary tumors.

Abstract:

Pituitary adenomas are common intracranial neoplasms that may be hormone-secreting or nonfunctional. Genetic defects associated with some pituitary tumors have been identified, although our understanding of the underlying molecular mechanisms remains incomplete.
