A Simple low-cost device enables four epi-illumination techniques on standard light microscopes

Abstract:

Back-scattering darkfield (BSDF), epi-fluorescence (EF), interference reflection contrast (IRC), and darkfield surface reflection (DFSR) are advanced but expensive light microscopy techniques with limited availability.
