Preparation and characterization of SnO 2/ZnO/TiO 2 composite semiconductor with enhanced photocatalytic activity

Abstract:

In this study, SnO 2/ZnO/TiO 2 composite photocatalysts were successfully synthesized using sol-gel and solid-state methods. The as-prepared samples were characterized for the phase structure, optical absorption, thermal stability and surface property using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
