Abstract:

RANKL (receptor activator of NFkappaB ligand) is a membrane-associated osteoblastic molecule, and along with macrophage-colony-stimulating factor, is crucial for osteoclast formation. RANKL is known to be strongly expressed in osteoblasts and lymphoid tissues.
