Dataset associated with paper "A one-component patchy-particle icosahedral quasicrystal"
========================================================================================

This zip file contains the following coordinate files in xyz format:

coords-7P-e1.0.xyz
coords-7P-e1.2.xyz
coords-7P-e1.4-WT.xyz
coords-7P-e1.4.xyz
coords-7P-e1.6.xyz
coords-10P-s0.25.xyz
coords-10P-s0.3T.xyz
coords-2R.xyz

coords-approx.xyz
coords-qxtal.xyz

The meaning of the system labels are:
7P: 7-patch system
10P: 10-patch system
2R: 2-ring system
approx: approximant
qxtal: ideal quasicrystal

The meaning of the parameter labels are:
e: value of epsilon_BB/epsilon_AA
s: value of sigma_ang
WT: with torsions

The zip files contain the following vmd tcl scripts:

plot-approx.tcl
plot-qxtal.tcl

for the approximant and quasicrystal coordinates and colours the particles according to their environment that matches the color scheme used in the paper. On the linux machine that I am using, these can be run, for example, from the command line using the command:

vmd -e plot-qxtal.tcl -args coords-qxtal.xyz
