Abstract:

Attaining near-normoglycaemia in patients with diabetes is essential if diabetes-related complications are to be minimised. Attempts to optimise glycaemic control are often limited by the infrequent nature of current home blood glucose monitoring systems and fear of hypoglycaemia.
