Does hospital experience rather than volume improve outcomes in geriatric patients?

Abstract:

Background

Although high absolute hospital geriatric trauma volume (GTV) is associated with improved outcomes among geriatric trauma patients, the actual geriatric trauma proportion (GTP) may be a better predictor of outcomes.
