From words to dates: Water into wine, mathemagic or phylogenetic inference?

Abstract:

Gray and Atkinson's (2003) application of quantitative phylogenetic methods to Dyen, Kruskal and Black's (1992) Indo-European database produced controversial divergence time estimates.
