H∞ system identification algorithm applied to Tokamak modelling

Abstract:

In this paper we describe the application of MISO System Identification to Tokamak simulations and machines. The work is motivated by the desire to create linear models for the design of modern controllers. The method described in this paper is a worst-case identification technique, in that it aims to minimize the H∞ error between the identified model and the plant.
