Nonmonotonic Probabilistic Reasoning under Variable−Strength Inheritance with Overriding

Abstract:

We present an approach to reasoning from statistical and subjective knowledge, which is based on a combination of probabilistic reasoning from conditional constraints with approaches to default reasoning from conditional knowledge bases.
