In what ways and to what extent can a bespoke programme of support enable primary teachers to develop as teacher educators of their peers?

Abstract:

Each year NCETM runs many work groups in England, funded by the Department for Education, all of which are organised on the basis of a cascade effect: two teachers attend work group meetings then share their learning with their colleagues. Evidence shows that although work groups change the teaching of those who attend meetings, the cascade to colleagues is less effective.
