Fermi surfaces and scattering path length drawn in Matlab. (top panels)
The evolution of the Fermi surface and the scattering length for a quasitwo
dimensional Fermi surface expanded in cylindrical coordinates [14] with k00 = 0.1 ˚A−1,
the interplane parameter of k10 = 0.01 ˚A−1,
and the in-plane two-fold symmetric parameter (a) k02=0, (b) k02=0.01, (c) k02=0.03, (d) k02=0.05 ˚A−1.
(bottom panels) The evolution of
the Fermi surface and the scattering length of the in-plane four-fold symmetric parameter
(e) k04=0, (f) k04=0.01, (g) k04=0.03, (h) k04=0.05 ˚A
−1. The Hall conductivity is linked to the 2 × Aℓ, area swept by the scattering path length, ℓk.
In the cases (g) and (h) the Hall conductivity
can change sign as compared with the other cases.
