A rare case of large mediastinal germ cell tumor detected by echocardiography.

Abstract:: We describe a rare case of a large mediastinal germ cell tumor detected by modified views of transthoracic echocardiography. CT scanning and histological findings after tumor resection confirmed diagnosis. This case demonstrates the clinical importance of echocardiography in diagnosis of extra-cardiac masses.
