Monte Carlo evaluation of radionuclides for early brain metastases targeting

Abstract:

Metastasis of breast cancer to the brain presents a pressing therapeutic challenge. Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM‐1) is upregulated on brain endothelial cells during the early stages of metastasis and provides a target for the detection and treatment of early brain metastases.
