Exploring Home User Security and Privacy
- Alternative title:
- Home User Security and Privacy
- Documentation:
- Privacy and security are deeply embedded in a web of social relationships. These relationships are particularly defining for and characteristic of our homes. This project therefore set out to explore security and privacy in the home from a social relationship perspective. A series of 35 interviews allowed us to analyse the ways in which technology use in the home is communal, and we began to illustrate the effects of communal use on privacy in the home.
