Patients with small duct primary sclerosing cholangitis have a favourable long term prognosis.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: Patients with cholestatic liver function tests and histological features of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) but a normal cholangiogram are considered to have small duct PSC.
