Abstract:

A capillary electrophoresis-electrospray-mass spectrometry technique for the characterization of lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) was developed, permitting the separation of trace-level O-deacylated LPS isoforms for subsequent structural characterization using tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS).
