Abstract:

Biologically targeted radiotherapy optimization requires accurate dose estimation, from macroscopic to cellular/subcellular dimensions. In particular, dose perturbations produced at interfaces between dissimilar media could affect therapy outcome. The magnitude of these perturbations depends on a complex set of parameters.
