Primary care oral anticoagulant management utilising computerised Decision Support (DSS) and Near Patient Testing (NPT)

Abstract:

Introduction: Increased numbers of patients receiving warfarin, particularly for non-rheumatic atrial fibrillation has increased pressure on GPs to undertake therapeutic articoagulation monitoring.
