Optimizing the transmission of the GRAVITY/VLTI near-infrared wavefront sensor

Abstract:

The GRAVITY instrument's adaptive optics system consists of a novel cryogenic near-infrared wavefront sensor to be installed at each of the four unit telescopes of the VLT.
