The influence of cement viscosity on the early migration of a tapered polished femoral stem.

Abstract:

It is unclear whether it is best to use high-viscosity or low-viscosity cement for fixation of total hip replacement (THR) femoral components. This study examines the influence of cement viscosity on the migration of the Exeter femoral component using roentgen stereophotogrammetric analysis (RSA).
