Approaching 100 T with wire wound coils

Abstract:

The European effort to develop nondestructive pulsed magnets for scientific research in fields up to 100 T is now well under way. Within the network of European magnet laboratories, two routes towards 100 T have emerged from an EC-sponsored design study.
