PURPOSE: Reducing the amount of contrast medium in contrast-enhanced MR-angiography (CE-MRA) of the cervical vessels could lead to considerable cost reduction. This study investigates whether the amount of contrast medium possessing high relaxivity can be reduced without loss of diagnostic information.
