Abstract:

Psychophysiological insomnia (PI) is the most common insomnia subtype, representing 12-15% of all sleep centre referrals. Diagnostic guidelines describe PI as an intrinsic sleep disorder involving both hyperarousal and learned sleep-preventing associations.
