Purpose
We hypothesized that 1) introducing pre-biopsy multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (PB-mpMRI) increases the diagnostic yield of transrectal prostate biopsy (TRPB), and 2) this would inform recommendations regarding systematic TRPB in the “negative” PB-mpMRI setting.
