Dependence of gold nanoparticle radiosensitization on functionalizing layer thickness

Abstract:

Gold nanoparticles functionalized with polyethylene glycol of different chain lengths are used to determine the influence of the capping layer thickness on the radiosensitizing effect of the particles.
