- Se si dovesse scegliere un unico oggetto per confutare le errate convinzioni sul Medioevo, si potrebbe optare per un portolano. Permane, infatti, ancora assai diffuso uno stereotipo secondo cui nel Medioevo la gente credeva che la Terra fosse piatta. Una sola occhiata all’atlante Douce 390 basta a sovvertire questa falsa credenza
