Studies of surface two-dimensional photonic band-gap structures

Abstract:
The properties of two-dimensional surface photonic band-gap (SPBG) were studied. The comparison of a coaxial two-dimensional SPBG structure with a conventional one dimensional Bragg structure was also presented. The data obtained by experimental and theoretical results were found to be in agreement with each other.
