Abstract:

The thesis is concerned with the position of East Greek art in the later 7th and the 6th centuries B.C.

Its aim is two-fold. First and foremost, to try to establish by detailed examination and analysis, as factually and objectively as possible, what characteristics in the topics investigated are genuinely East Greek.
