This is a metadata record for the citation of a digitised dataset, The Enggano-German Dictionary online derived from Kähler’s (1987) “Enggano-Deutsches Wörterbuch”. The Shiny web application for the dataset can be accessed at https://doi.org/10.25446/oxford.28057742

The current version allows users to browse the main entry and sub-entries from the original print dictionary, with English and Indonesian translations. The search field under each column accepts plain text searches and regular expressions; the match will be highlighted in red. Future updates attempt to include other information, such as the variant forms, etymological sources, and remarks. The application source code is available on GitHub and archived on Zenodo and the University of Oxford's Sustainable Digital Scholarship (SDS) service (Rajeg 2025).
