Abstract:

AIMS/HYPOTHESIS: The aim of this study was to characterise electrical activity, ion channels, exocytosis and somatostatin release in human delta cells/pancreatic islets. METHODS: Glucose-stimulated somatostatin release was measured from intact human islets.
