Abstract:

An immune component has been suggested to underlie the pathophysiology of psychiatric diseases, and is thought to involve pro-inflammatory cytokines. Thus, there is the potential for drugs with anti-inflammatory properties to act as therapeutic agents for psychiatric illnesses.
