Genetics of thyroid autoimmunity and the role of the TSHR.

Abstract:

Graves' disease (GD) and Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) make up the autoimmune thyroid diseases (AITD), with classical clinical characteristics arising as a result of environmental factors in people who are genetically predisposed.
