Clinical indicators of bacterial meningitis among neonates and young infants in rural Kenya.

BACKGROUND: Meningitis is notoriously difficult to diagnose in infancy because its clinical features are non-specific. World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines suggest several indicative signs, based on limited data.
