This dataset includes multi-channel pTx B1+ data and B0 data for a Siemens Magnetom 7T scanner using a Nova Medical 8Tx/32Rx coil. Datasets acquired using different transmit voltages and RF shims have been combined to calculate the B1+ maps, in order to facilitate improved coverage in both the head and the neck. All data were acquired using the same FoV (in coil-based coordinates) and reconstructed at the same resolution. The following data are included: - "B1_multiCh_10subs.mat": Multi-channel B1: Data in Hz/V units. Data dimensions: [x, y, z, Tx channel, subject] - "B0_10subs.mat": Relative B0 data: In \Delta Hz units. Data dimensions: [x, y, z, subject] - "B1_ref_10subs.mat": Reference maps: Reference images for B1 magnitude calculation. Data dimensions: [x, y, z, subject] Data are included for 10 healthy volunteers. The following list shows some basic information about the volunteers (in the same order as in the Matlab arrays), to help selecting appropriate subjects for universal shim/pulse calculation and validation: - Subject 1: 25y, Male, BMI 22 - Subject 2: 23y, Male, BMI 22 - Subject 3: 30y, Female, BMI 20 - Subject 4: 25y, Male, BMI 25 - Subject 5: 41y, Male, BMI 23 - Subject 6: 27y, Female, BMI 20 - Subject 7: 27y, Male, BMI 24 - Subject 8:
- Subject 9: 56y, Male, BMI 26 - Subject 10: 23y, Male, BMI 22 Data are presented in Matlab arrays, so without any metadata. A single file per array is used to make it straight-forward to transform the arrays to different file formats. Additional (higher resolution) T1w MPRAGE data are also available for all subjects (excluding subject 8 on request), but not included in this online resource. Instead, it's available on request (for compliance with GDPR). For further questions or for access to the MPRAGE data, please contact matthijs.debuck@ndcn.ox.ac.uk and/or peter.jezzard@univ.ox.ac.uk
