The syndrome of transient epileptic amnesia.

Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: Transient amnesia can be the principal manifestation of epilepsy. This diagnosis, however, is seldom suspected by clinicians and remains controversial. The amnestic attacks are often associated with persistent memory complaints.
