Abstract:

The DC Optimal Power Flow(DC-OPF) is at the heart of the actual centralized market clearing mechanisms used in Electrical Power Markets. Through the last decade several distributed clearing mechanisms have been proposed in order to decentralise it. A common link in these approaches is that they address this problem as a decomposition of the whole system into subareas.
