Editorial analytics: How news media are developing and using audience data and metrics

Abstract:

This Report shows how a subset of news organisations are developing distinct forms of what are called "editorial analytics". These are tailored around particular editorial priorities and organisational imperatives, e.g. they are built around particular kinds of journalism and particular business models.
