Abstract:

BACKGROUND: PFAPA syndrome (periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis and cervical adenitis syndrome) is a rare clinical syndrome of unknown cause usually identified in children. OBJECTIVES: To assess the efficacy of tonsillectomy (with or without adenoidectomy) in children with PFAPA.
